Point No Point Branding
Several decades ago, Stuart and Sharon Soderberg asked if we could help improve their marketing communications for Point No Point Resort.
Yes we could.
We started with a new brochure that focused on your experiences, not the bed linens. Within a year, it was being knocked off by nearly every local B&B, restaurant, and resort on south-west Vancouver Island. Flattery?!? We suppose.
The logo we developed channeled the spirit of the classic Canadian Pacific hotel branding — Evoking images of rugged Canadian wilderness locations repleat with mod cons and creature comforts.
You know, when something is right, it’s timeless. Over 25 years later it’s still a distinctively effective promotional piece. Since then we’ve helped with signage, advertising, several generations of websites, and all the resort photography.
Yeah. We know, it’s a tough job, but sometimes we just have to cowboy up and get ‘er done!
Ian, I’m not a marketing guy, but I have to tell you those new cabin photos have made all the difference! Before you launched the new site, cabin 14 was the last to rent just because the photo didn’t do it justice. Now it’s booked solid and we could rent it 4 times over. Great job. Thanks for all your help.
